Welcome to the newly renovated Khaolak Resort, carefully designed so that our guests will experience a new dimension in comfort and luxury while maintaining the original concept of a private holiday within a natural and peaceful environment.
The Resort itself spawns from an elevated position on the lower part of Khaolak hill and gently slope onto the 400 metre long beachfront. You can take an evening stroll along the golden beach, with the occasional boulder rising from the fine sandy surface, and enjoy the peaceful view of the sunset, accompanied by the gentle background sound of the lapping waves.

All our restaurants are also ideally situated for you to enjoy a splendid view of the sea. At Khaolak Resort we try to bring you into a world that is closest to “Paradise on Earth”

Meeting and Seminar“Jumpoon”
Jumpoon conference room is situated on the upper slope of the resort area thus overlooking the magnificent landscape. It is an ideal spot for hosting events, seminars, meetings or conferences, with the hall itself surrounded by a natural environment. As opposed to the conventional ballroom-styled conference room, Jumpoon aims at providing a relaxing atmosphere amid the southern Thai classical charm of the room, and with a touch of its surrounding nature. This seminar room is designed to accommodate up to 220 persons with a variety of room configurations and packages available. Jumpoon, equipped with the latest technology and providing a breathtaking view of the sea and relaxing atmosphere, will ensure that stress and friction, the problems that are a part of seminars, are kept to a minimum

The Chaba is located on the edge of the beach front and provides an ideal vantage point to take in the splendid sunset view while dining on your favorite Thai cuisine.

International Beach Cuisine “The Kumpun”
The Kumpun serves International Cuisine and Sea food. Guests can enjoy the tasty and delicious spread of dishes from our demonstration kitchen, “Kumpun Boat”. The sea food variety that goes into our preparation are fresh catches from nearby, which provides that important component in enhancing the flavour and taste of our chef’s creation.

Pool Bar and Pool Sala
The Pool Bar and Pool Sala are located beside Khaolak Pool. They have a wide selection of light cocktails and snacks that are served amidst the freshness of the green shady garden ground and privacy of the golden beach.

Location

Khaolak Resort is situated near the Khaolak-Lumru National Park of Phang-nga Province Thailand. The resort itself is on a hilly area surrounded by natural lush green vegetation, and gradually descends onto a 400 meter long golden beach front providing a spectacular view of the sea.

Khaolak Resort is 75 kilometers or 45 minutes from Phuket International Airport. Another nearby airport is at Krabi which is 120 kilometers away and a car journey to the Resort takes about 2 hours

Spa

Blended into the tranquil rainforest atmosphere, The Baimai Spa is conceived to offer some excellent spa activities within a peaceful environment. A massage after hiking, a body wrap to hydrate and soothe after a day on the beach, and a scrub after a long journey are all on available by trained therapists.

The atmosphere is extremely cozy and relaxed with excellent service from our friendly staff. Current facilities include herbal steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, combined wet and dry treatment rooms, fresh flowers, essential burners and herbal teas and comforting touches that add a homely and soothing atmosphere.

An inspired range of treatment exclusive to The Baimai Spa is Anda Thai Touch, which combines aromatic marine salt scrub and moisture treatments using plani and marine extracts, authentic Thai herbs wrap and facial treatment and finally a unique Thai massage to complete the course. Anda Experience starts with the application of freshly prepared papaya, honey and Thai herbs to rejuvenate the skin. A Thai and facial massage provides a conclusion to this package.

Activities

Elephant Trekking in Khao Lak Jungle
Try trekking in the jungle on elephants specially trained for this activity. Feed the elephants, the biggest land mammal in the world and learn about their way of life. At the end of the day, enjoy the serene sight and pleasant sound of the cool waterfalls available in the area.

Khao Lak Bamboo Rafting
Experience and enjoy the rafting adventure on locally made bamboo rafts. Raft along the crystal clear waters of Khao Lak National Park that is surrounded by beautiful hills and wild animals. .

Classic Canoeing in Mangrove Forest
Apart from the golden beach, you can also spend part of your day canoeing with the local boatmen. The cooling sight of the Sai Roong Waterfall and the rich mangrove forest inhabited by all sorts of living organisms should wrap up an adventurous day for you.

Similan Island
This group of nine remote islands located one and half hours by speedboat from Tab Lamu pier, was designated as a national park in 1982. The Similan Islands are home to many different species of marine life. With their stunning coral reefs and unspoiled lands, the islands offer a world-class underwater experience for scuba divers. They are consistently ranked as one of the top ten dive sites in the world, and tourists are known to be making frequent return visits.

Accommodations are available on some of the islands or alternatively, a day trip is a common alternative.

Surin Island
Surin Islands National Park is made up of five islands and was awarded national park status in 1981. Like the Similan Islands, this is another world famous site for snorkeling and scuba diving. It is one and a half hour by boat from Khuraburi. Once there, you will be able to enjoy another range of beautiful coral reefs in this part of the country. A fantastic undersea world including a variety of multi-coloured fishes and other sea animals will create a lasting impression on you. Accommodations are available or otherwise, a day trip could be equally worthwhile.
