 Khaolak is an excellent relaxing location for going to the Similan Marine National Park Islands only 60klm west from the main land. Khaolak is the closest point Thailand has to offer to the Similan Islands.
Similan Diving Safaris is a PADI Dive Center and is located on Nang Tong Road in Khaolak, the view from our back door is the Lamru National Park Forest, and we are only a short walk from our local beach, Nang Thong beach.

We offer a full range of PADI educational courses, Discover Scuba, Open water Diver , Advanced Open Water diver, Emergency First Response, Rescue Diver and Divemaster, most of the theory for the open water diver ( classroom work & pool) is done in Khaolak and then we do all the dives in the Similan islands, The Advanced open water course is done on our liveaboard M/V Dolphin queen, what a fantastic way to start diving, crystal clear waters, visibility 15m to 40m, corals reefs full of marine life, and for those of you who have never experienced diving, you can try the PADI Discover the reef program. Similan Diving Safaris teach all PADI courses in all major European languages, also Swedish.
 Liveaboard Diving, for the ultimate diving adventure, join Similan Diving Safaris on our spacious luxury liveaboard M/V Dolphin Queen, and cruise the 13 scenic, uninhabited tropical islands of the Similan & Surin Marine National Park Islands.
The islands are scattered with uninhabited white sandy beaches, the waters glow aqua marine blues and emerald greens, the corals busting with marine life. In-between dives, snorkeling or discovering the islands is great fun. Our safari gives you the chance to dive (14 dives) all the main dive sites in the Similan & Surin Marine National Park islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, & the famous Richelieu Rock, where your diving dreams can become reality, and life is just great fun, with your new found friends.
Diving Day Trips, This is for guests who don’t have the budget or the time to do a liveaboard safari, also for those of you who want to enjoy the comfort of your hotel in the evenings in Khaolak. We have daily trips to the Similan Islands with Dive Speed Boats, you can arrive in the Similan Islands in1hr -30 min. you can choose from, 3 dives per day or 2 dives per day, you can also sleep over night on the Similan Islands, our dive team are always there to help, if you need them.
